The department of Electric Machines is a member of the State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Power Equipment and the National Key Discipline of Electrical-Electric Machines and Electric Apparatus. It is also one of the earliest majors in Xi’an Jiaotong University. The Department of Electric Machines has a research team with strong strength and high academic level. There are two professors and six associate professors. It’s the vice director member unit of the Chinese Electrotechnical Society (CES) Linear Motor Professional Committee. It’s also the member unit of Large Motor, Small Power Motor, Permanent Magnet Motor, Micro Special Motor, Superconducting Technology and its Application and etc.
